Alabama Gulf State Park
Beach Pavilion

Located on Highway 182 between Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama.

Pros: There is a large covered area with picnic tables and a very long stretch of beach. It has restrooms, a concession stand and a huge parking lot. Usually by afternoon it has thinned out some. It does cost to park. There are three boardwalks and a relative short walk to the beach. Convenient to the heart of Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.

Cons: Having to pay for parking. A permit required for a wedding on the beach. Pavilion itself can be rented. As with most locations there can be large crowds at times.
